I've had these on the front for about a year. Had to turn lower mount around and reweld. They really do a great job.The compression adjustment stop the front end from diving on whoops, its great!
These I have are for a yamaha rhino... part# 400-16-04. Mine shipped with 250lb springs which are too heavy. Im going to get 160lb replacement springs like Solrus has on his.
The ride is great though, even with those stronger springs

Maybe these "exact fit" for the pioneer have 160lb springs instead of 250lb like my rhino models.
I'd check with them before purchasing.

Didn't take long to get a response....

From WE. "The ride height is maintained and can grow with spring preload. They come with 250-lb springs in the front shocks. The shaft stroke is about 1” Longer than stock, the most you can achieve with such a small shock. Fully Compression adjustable re-buildable shock.

Would take about a week to ship, they have to be built."

My local dealer in CT said $875 with shipping. This is for the pair of front 2.0” Remote Reservoir Shocks. Seemed a bit high on price as the website has them around $300 each...

That price is $299 per shock?!?! No... :) They need to come up with something much better for me to spend that kind of cash. This is a strut, they can offer a lift, some choices with spring rate, etc. This costs more than the Rancho 2.5" lift struts I put on my F150. $249 for two and they're 10x bigger.

The walker evans website has 1.75" shocks listed for the 500... not 2".
It seems all of the better quality shocks are $300 and up each.

I was ripping through a whooped out section today, bottomed the stock shocks front & rear pretty hard.......several times!!! I may have to order the W.E.'s sooner than I thought. The stockers won't hold up very long with the sort of abuse I'm giving them.

250 lbs front, 275 lbs rear. Eibach , 10" long springs. The spring rate that is higher then I downgraded in my rhino shocks to 175lbs, was explained by different valving. The guy I spoke said they they had to sit with Chris from WE and really scratch their had to make a move to make them.

I think since the spring is generic size Eibach than if it's too stiff , anyone can downgrade to lower spring rate. But I hope it's not necessary and the engineers put their souls and minds into constructing them.
