I did mine. It was a pain. If I had to do it again I would stand it up on the rear and do it.
Here is some pictures - 700 Water Pump Replacement | The Honda Side by Side Club!
Make sure you have a rubber hose on the weep tube. that will help prevent water from entering by creating a pressure seal.
Kinda like a straw with your finger on one the top. Same idea.

You can't just replace the seal. You have to replace the pump.
No, don't run it into your snorkel. Just make sure it is there.
See it in this picture after new install.

OEM included one but it most likely came off.

I should ask how bad is it leaking? If you can smell it while riding then it is too much.
But if it is small drop, say like when parked after a ride, then I would not mess with it. Honda says it is common for a small amount to leak.
If it is still dripping after 24 hours parked then replace.

it leaks running and sitting ,,, filled the radiator up rode about an hour or so parked it and it was low the next day and noticed it was leaking from the weep hole... the dealership told me it was the o ring and that I could replace just that ,, o ring is like 6 bucks,, just wanted some feed back on replacing it ,, and if special tools were needed,,i did fill it the next day and ran it at idle and only lost around a half a cup ,,

hum... I'm not sure about that. Honda does not list those parts if so.
It had to be put together so I'm sure it could be done if you can find the right seals.
I have always just replaced the entire pump.
The part you need is the unlisted one between 10 and 3.

You need to research it more then.

My stance is...
That it is non serviceable.
Part #10 is the engine oil seal. You can see it here.

Oh.. BTY, you will need to drain the oil. So good time for a oil change.

BUT...
I did a Rincon without draining the oil.
Drained the coolant then stood it up. That way all the oil goes to the back of the motor.
We also closed off the crank case breather tube just to be safe.

Figures. Lol
You didn't happen to take any pictures did you? That's ok.

This seems like a better way to go for sure.
Hate Honda does not list it this way. Even the manual doesn't show it.
That's the way to go. $40 vs $140!

Thanks for the info.

My 2018 pioneer 700 is exactly 28 days out of warranty and is leaking from the water pump. Took it to dealer they tell me so sorry but that water pump is non-serviceable need to buy a new one. I believe my Honda days are about over with. Have owned many and they were always built right and reliable not so much these days.
