Yeah, that’s getting hot for this old boy.
Curious, some of us put heat in our bikes. Do you guys put air conditioning in yours.

Not bad yet. Later in the year we’ll head north every chance we get.
Come on up. 91’s a hot summer day.
Years ago, I was golfing with my buddies one summer. We were dying from the heat. An old couple caught up to us in a cart. I still remember saying, it’s really hot, and the lady said, Oh no dear, this is beautiful weather. We’re from Florida.
Haha

I didn’t know there was that much burning every year.
Critical to the Flint Hills tall prairie grass. Impervious to the plow because of shallow rock escaped the destruction of the early 1900’s which led to the dust bowl of the depression.

Boca Grand Pass?
Not sure. He went down last year. And his guide put him on YouTube. All the guy said was ‘ This guy named Ed came down here from Canada and..... just watch.
Ed was getting them one after another. He said he’s never seen that before. On fly.
Ed loved it.

Prescribed Fires Consume Kansas Landscape

Last year due to drought they estimated. 1.5 million acres burned by prescribed fire. This year will probably be well over 2 million.
Very interesting. Makes sense on keeping prairies , prairies. Because it will grow over fast.
Beautiful country. Looks kinda like my friends ranch in southern Alberta. But I’ve never seen it green. I’m only out in November, when everything is white. :)
I’m not sure if they burn in Alberta or not, I’ll have to ask him.
I might have a picture of his place.
Thanks for the informative video.
Very cool.

Hahaha. Ice coffee a little colder. :)
It’s 40 here this morning with rain. Not going to 70 today. Only 50. :)
Going to rain all week. I’m going to my camp for the first time Thursday to drop a new box and mattress off. Hopefully the snow is gone. :)

54 supposed to hit 77. Pioneer in tow going to help someone burn 200 acres. Wind is upper end of my comfort level but everything downwind is burned.
