The snow melting up North doesn't help.This is its normally high time of year anyway, but with all our rain and the excessive snow melt it is higher than normal. As they say ,The Mighty Mississippi.

Better yet is how Samuel Clemens took his pen name. As a Mississippi River boat Pilot, he knew the value of deep water and the boatsman would drop his rope in the water which had a knot at three foot intervals. One knot depth of water was a 1/4 twain, two knots a half twain, three knots 3/4 twain and four nots a mark twain, something every pilot wanted to hear called out. 12’ of water and safe water for the river boat.

Yes, it has happened again, water is 25 feet above normal, and expected to rise more over two more days. The TransCanada Highway is now closed!

I built up on a hill, so I'm ok. But I can't get to my camp, all the roads that lead to heaven are flooded. They say April showers give May flowers, well, we're going to have some awesome flowers!!! Did you say you're going on a run tomorrow? The guys are planning one here also, but after 7 or 8 straight days of rain, it's going to be a winching party! I'll give this one a skip...
