99 in Tuscaloosa Alabama with heat index of 114 at 3:00 today. Second day in a row like this. Can't hardly get anything done . It's hard to work in this .

Be on the job at sun up with tools out and ready to go and be shutting down at 2 PM, roof top gas jobs, I would load all th equipment and materials on the roof early in the morning including lights and tools, show up at midnight and finish the job in half the time it would have taken during the day light hours, is how I used to do it.

We don't have that kind of choice although it would be nice. But in our work once you start it may take a while to get to a stopping point . But we did cut back to 11 hours a day .

I cant think of many August weeks that I have had to mow twice. For that matter that it was too wet to mow my yard as well.

Yea it wasn't to bad. I was off Tuesday waiting for new appliances to be delivered.

In August we mow every 5-7 days. In the South our grass grows almost as fast with heat as it does rain.
