freezing rain when we left the cottage on monday.here on the coast it's 100% humidity.it's freakin' gross.i'd rather have the freezing rain.i was walking around in a t shirt up there at 20 deg and it was more comfortable.

We have a lot of Bald Eagles up here. This time of year, the parents teach the young ones how to fish at the causeway to Cape Breton. Last Sunday there was a guy and his wife, from NH, taking pictures with a giant lens on their camera.
A young one flew right beside us as we were driving over the causeway.
Very cool.
