Down in Houston for a couple days, can’t believe how warm and humid it is at this time of year, even for Houston.....

-40,snow and winds up to 90 km/h.how's that for a winter storm?down on the coast not so bad.we have a little over a foot of snow,more on the way tonite and a wind warning,maybe up to 60/70 km/h,they shut down the trans canada highway due to blizzard conditions and i have to be in the city tomorrow at noon for a can't miss doc appt.guess i'm getting up really early tomorrow.

That’s a good Canadian welcome to any visitors. Just tell them that it like this all the time.
As for getting in town, break out the snowmobile. If you can bend the knee that far.
I have gear for that cold, but haven’t worn it for a few years. I’m not complaining though.

I can’t wait to get out today. It was 84* yesterday. The traffic is atrocious. But I did have the best dinner at a 5 star fish restaurant last night, so there’s that.....

Was sleeting a little when I left work today.

We’re getting a little bit of snow. Around 4” coming. But we just missed a big one. NFLD is gonna get two feet.
Good for the snowmobileing.

well,looks like i'm back in the hospital on the 28th .doc's gonna knock me out and "manipulate" my knee to bust up the scar tissue and hopefully i'll get alot more range of motion.that should be fun.i must be a closet masochist because i'm actually looking forward to it.i really want to be able to walk normal as soon as possible.

well,looks like i'm back in the hospital on the 28th .doc's gonna knock me out and "manipulate" my knee to bust up the scar tissue and hopefully i'll get alot more range of motion.that should be fun.i must be a closet masochist because i'm actually looking forward to it.i really want to be able to walk normal as soon as possible.

Make sure you do all the PT makes it work much better. Hope you have a great outcome.

Yeah, my plane was landing at LIT about that time. Always freaks me out when there’s weather like that and I’m in a plane.

Cape Breton has been getting hit hard. A week ago, my brother sent me a picture from the SPY camera on the camp. It sends a picture to his cell phone. The snow was up half way up the gate. So close to 4’.
They have been getting snow squalls all week. Continuous snow.
Fun if you have a long track sled.
Only about $17 K up here.

Come on up. We’ll stay at the camp.
I can get a Yamaha two up.
Bring warm clothes too.
Lots of snow. One time, cross country skiing, my brother pushed me over and my pole went down and so did my arm, and still didn’t touch. Haha
You’ll be happy to get home to no snow.
But I do love the snow like that.
As long as I don’t have to shovel the deck off.

well past the scope stage.knee is stuck at 50/ 60 degrees.7 weeks wasted,time to start all over.i don't want to go back to work any time soon anyways.

not cheap.i spent almost $300 just on a pair of -100 snow boots,i've got almost 4 ft. of snow right now.but if you're going to spend all day on a frozen lake it's not optional.
