That Southern humidity finally turned to rain. Creek level behind the house last night during the downpour. 4 to almost 13 ft rise. The new concrete prevented uphill erosion, but my new sod got moved. Had to re-lay it in the mud this morning. Not fun.

that sucks.i lost around a meter deep of my shoreline in a small section from spring storms this year,and had to rebuild my gangway to the main dock from my gravel landing washing into the lake.on the bright side.i gained some rocky beach 🤣 .good thing it was only a short section.after i pull the docks for the winter i'm reinforcing the landing with the now exposed boulders.

That is a nice one for sure. That was taken from Lake Merrisach in SE Arkansas at end of world. Connected water ways are Arkansas river and Mississippi river. They are some nice ones down there.

we have some summer like weather heading our way.it should last at least a week.mid to high 20 c.i forsee alot of fishing in my immediate future.

Fishing in Lake Talquin, outside Tallahasse, me and my buddy saw one on the bank. It had to be near 15 feet!
We’ve seen a 14 footer in Lake Eufala, between BAMA and Georgia.
