I have an issue that have developed in the last few months. Sometimes when you turn the key you get relays clicking and dash lights flashing. Sometimes it even gives you a code. However disconnect the positive cable and reconnect it and the issue resets until next time. I've got video of it but can't figure out how to upload it.

Maybe poor battery connection. Are the terminals and connectors shiny bright?

Terminals are shiny and bright. I wouldn't think ground. Tonight it happened in the driveway. Took the positive off and put it back on and it worked fine. I'd think if it was a bad ground the condition wouldn't clear but ainhave been wrong before.

Computer issue is my guess.
Dash looks like you submerged it or someone did for you.

I would disconnect battery, unplug all connections to the dash display, and check all grounding connections...as mentioned above..plug everything back in and then check and reconnect battery...but as @swsebek said, may be a bad display computer.

It's never been submerged and I've owned it since it was new. It gets dirty cause I use it all the time. Throw in a bit of rain when I was planting my last food plot...

May try the battery. When it is freaking out like that and you try to start it you can hear the starter relay click but nothing happens.

You said it has been the last few months. Bad battery would have showed itself by now. And you said you unhook power and it's good for a while.I think it is in the display harness wiring. Maybe it came loose or u got water in it.its the only way all the warnings and display would flicker together. Just my take on this.

My motorcycle this spring would randomly go in to relay clicking/display flashing when I hit the start button. I'd let off the button, mumble colorful metaphors to myself and then it would start seconds later with no issues and start fine for the next 50 times without issue hot, cold didn't matter. Tossed a new battery in it and it's been super after that, never another problem. Weak cell? Loose internal connection of battery? No idea, but the replacement fixed it. Hope that info helps.
