Planned to drop of the 1000 last Saturday. Not dealer I purchased from, but had been talking to them about doing both updates. They called late Friday, parts back ordered for 6 weeks. Called dealer I purchased from today, 4 hours away and they say at least 4 weeks... Honda dragging it out? I’ve been trying for 2 months. Rain in forecast this weekend so guess I’ll close overhead door an work on mods.

My neighbor has a 1000. In early December he went with me to pick up my 500. He purchased his machine from there as well. At that time the salesman told him March was the earliest that he could expect Honda to catch up. He still hasn't heard from him. The bright side is that at least our machines are still functional and not burning to the ground like some.

Stopped by southern Honda powersports the day after I got my clutch update letter and they said bring it in the next day they had the clutch kits this was on Saturday 2 weeks ago and they called me on Tuesday it was read and they also did the heat seat fix while it was there it took them bout 4 hours to do it all and there is a big difference in how it shifts can't even tell when it shifts

Same for me.
One thing I learned is to make sure your dealer has called the dealer tech line and started a claim. If not then you will be waiting even longer. Once I had the dealer call, parts arrived within 2 weeks.
If the dealer has done one then they should know this. If this is their first update I would make sure they have called.

Also we are seeing push back where they want to test drive it for issues. And only if noted they issue the cluch upgrade.
