I searched and did not find a thread similar to this. If there is one sue me! I will start......185s,200s,350x,TRX450. In the midst of these I had a Yamaha RD 350 engine on a 110 frame set up for sand drags, also had a KZ 1000 with a 3 wheel swing arm and 14 Skat Pac paddles for sand drags. Man that thing was fast for sure except for whoopty do's!

I've had an '84 ATC200ES Big Red and an '84 ATC125M. The machines in my signature are the ones I currently own. I helped buy my son's '06 CRF 100F. I also run a Honda GXV160 transplanted on my push mower.

83 VT750, 75 CB500, 07 TRX500 (still have), 88 CBR1000F, and my personal favorite....94 CBR900. Built the 900 engine as far as you can take it then finally shoe horned a CB100XX Blackbird motor in it. I never got to touch the XX engine due to back problems ending the hobby. But it'd put a Busa on the trailer faster than you can say "Is that a Honda?" Lol.

That powerplant was culture shock compared to the 900 motor. Went from leaving at 6500 rpms to 1500. 99lbft is a wonderful thing. Clutch stunk. I converted to cable and it was good to go.

I like the low RPM torquey motors better, I've had better service out of them vs the HP at high rpm. The Gixxer600 and R1 I had went back for high $ warranty work and were then quickly traded. Sadly I made the mistake of getting a Yamaha after the Suzuki. R1 got traded for the RC51( fav sport bike I owned)

The VFR800 sounded great and the single sided swing arm stood out as well.

Never owned one but always liked the R1. Til they went with crossplane crank and it turned into a Ducati sound alike lol. I got pics somewhere of my buddy's XX. It made almost 500 at the tire. It would've breached 500 but we couldn't get it strapped tight enough to keep tire stuck to the roller (older dynojet Dyno with worn roller). He tried couple of good street treads then finally mounted a brand new MT shootout tire and got best reading. Totally shredded it in process (260 bucks down the drain). I made a pass on it back when it was nitrous bike. 9.13 @155 on motor. We don't believe in wheelie bars lol.
