Between Fox, 814, WE, Shock Therapy ( looks like no pioneer?) and Elka. not sure I believe the 814’s are durable, seen a few blown out on their FB page and the owner just acted like so sorry your an idiot, which maybe the person was but rubbed me kind of wrong.

I had fox shocks and was never really happy. I switched to Elka Stage 4s and I'm really satisfied. I'm a bit concerned that they get hot riding hard but they've held up well for 1500 miles. I'd be interested in trying fox shocks again with a better spring rate for the payload that I regularly run

Elka stage 3, 2000 miles no problems.Just be sure u add up all and future weight added to ur machine .The difference between them and others is they will install the correct springs to start with

Have Fox with different springs, it’s much more aggressive now, been pretty happy.

Same here. The factory QS3 rear shocks are better than the stockers, but I wasn't thrilled with them. Swapped out the springs and it was a lot better.

I saw you went to a 300lb spring in the rear, so the fronts are good, would you recommend only changing the front?

I like the factory fronts with the progressive spring so I never made any changes there. When it comes time to recharge them I may try a different spring just for the hell of it, but I haven't felt the need yet. I didn't like how choppy the factory rear QS3 springs made the ride so I swapped them out to a non-progressive spring.

Assuming for the better?

i did the same as Adam, i went to a 325# 14" rear spring .. stock was a 170 - 300 progressive spring.. 15.25 long..

i also swapped out the front springs.. 14" 250# springs.. it rides so much better. These are on QS3's
