If you were building the Honda Talon. What would your spec sheet look like?
What do you want to see from this model?
Post and let Honda know what you want.

  2. Talon X LV
20 plus inches of suspension with some top shelf shocks that don't need to be upgraded
lots of power the more the better 120hp would be a good starting point
and wider gear range transmission then are Pioneers have, or a little lower first and another gear on top
low range that works in forward and reverse
factory 30 inch tires

Perfect I hope they use all that for the blueprint and that's just for the mild

You go CumminsPusher!
Sounds about right I wish Honda would put a speed limiting key on it!!!

Honda if you are listening the Talon would be WORTH MORE to me with a programmable speed limiting key!!!!
that way I don't have to worry about letting a juvenile drive it that don't think about the consequences, or cannot drive good as he thinks he can, please put it on the Pioneer too.

Don’t say “juvenile” they don’t like that word. Phrase it like this: “a speed limiter would be very useful for those that are uncomfortable with the power and ability we hope this has, and would increase sales to some on the fence. Safety first. “:)

I decided to go with a top five list.

1) It be on the dealership floors ASAP!
2) ASAP means today
3) Ok, if I have wait until the first of July I guess I can manage that
4) Why hasn't my dealer called me to say it is ready to pick up yet?
5) please reference item 1

Top 5...

4 seat version that isn't a limo
100hp or a little more
20" travel
Independently locking diffs front and rear
Designed for at least 30" tires

Some of my other wish list items I think I can safely assume it already comes with based on the pictures.

Honda is going to read that and think your that guy that trusts his wife to drive his kids around all day in the mini van but she can't be trusted with his toy.

On edit: Just in case Ang is reading this, i) I learned a long time ago not to think that way because it eventually comes out and some one then 'helps 'you with your thought process and ii) I know you can drive / ride / camp with the best of us iii) I'm just messing with Sasquach ;)

a clutch pedal, instead of a computer doing it for you

I don't want a clutch pedal... What I really want is a beefed up version of the transmission that was in my foreman 500es. Not sure how it worked, maybe some type of centrifugal clutch before the electric shift tranny? However it worked, it worked awesome, none of this dct with an electronically controlled engaging clutch or whatever.

Basically a Maverick Trail that is gear driven and has a Honda logo. If it has everything I want on it, who gives a sh** about the price. ;)

That doesn't sound bad.

I'm not totally sold on the trailing arm suspension. I might prefer an a arm design. I guess it is easier to get big travel with the trailing arm though.
