Traxion Gripper 8 ply radials

Front 27x9-12 on Size: 12X7, Offset: 4+3, Pattern: 4/110 rims

Rear 27x10-12 Size: 12X7, Offset: 5+2, Pattern: 4/110 rims

Is this a good set up? I'm still not confident on picking offsets, although the above is what has been suggested to me by an ATV aftermarket tire company.

You should put the 4+3 on the rear and 5+2 on front . That will help even it out . It would look funny the other way

Maybe they spec'd it that way because the back tires are wider, and 5+2 rears would even the stance? Does that sound logical?

the front is wider than the rear. the 4+3 should be on the front. or just buy all the same and run spacers.

4+3 will make the rear tire move outward 1 inch that will even up your stance and it will look good. You will see when you put them on.

Why would you want to push front out yet wider? 4+3 would be the same as5+2 with a 1 inch spacer in the amount it pushed tire out

I see their logic but put them on and put however looks best to you. But buying them all the same with spacers on rear would be good to.

I have 5+2 same width with same 10" wide tires on all corners and it is 54 in the front and 52 in the back. need to get spacers to make it the same.

Think you got front and rear mixed up, 5 + 2 front and 4 + 3 rear. I run 5 + 2 rear and 6 + 1 front, I love it!

The rear ends up skinnier than the front and that's with 11's on back. You're posting 10's in the back, in this situation I would definitely put the 4+3's on the back to even out the track width.

Phone him back tomorrow, let him know what has been suggested in this thread and listen to his reasoning and then take your own best decision. If you are wrong the problem can always be fixed with spacers.

I called back, she said they go by what the computer tells them. She got a little flustered when I asked her about changing up offsets, and as the return policy is kinda strict, I need 100% confidence before ordering.

The info I've given you is 100% solid. Most go with 5+2's on all 4. You can always add spacers to go wider or to even out track width. Most do it for rotation purposes. 1" spacers for the rear would be $50.

Thanks, but I am leaning towards 4+3 on all 4, just for a little more "stance". Not worried about rotating tires, I do it on my vehicles but never have on my quads...

Yeah, I don't either even though I'm set up to do so. If I get uneven wear it just means it's time for new tires. :D

? Replaced wheels and tires on p5 would like to use one of the original wheel/tire as spare. Which would be better front or back or neither
