Are offset rims easier on wheel bearings than spacers? I'm thinking of 1" spacers or rims with a +3 offset for the rear. I realize spacers would be less expensive.

Likely less overall rotational mass so probably a little better but the actual leverage factor (all things being equal in overall width) is the same.

My uneducated opinion but I’m curious to see what peeps smarter than I have to say.

For sure making sure lugnuts and spacer nuts are tight helps prevent issues on the trail. Nomojic

I would think the difference in offset wheels vs a spacer would be negligible as far as bearing load. If you use spacers I would recommend @RB3offroad and use loc-tIte on the spacer retaining nuts and a torque wrench.

Pfffft. All this talk about checking lugnuts, using loctite, and quality spacers is overrated 🤣

Actually I did check lugnuts and used loctite. I think the problem was crappy spacers. 🤦‍♂️ I've now upgraded to @RB3offroad spacers 👍
