I don't have them yet and I'm not saying its the best but for the dollar and the reviews I'm going to try the 814s.

  1. Do not currently own
Low budget: Fox if you want 3 quick and easy settings. 814 if you want more settings to dial it in for your ride

Mid to upper budget: Elka or WE stage 3 or higher. Also the 814 Dominators are supposed to be around the stage 3 in ride quality, but still new

814's are the cheapest and have several more settings than the fox. Talk to Craig Folmer about your buggy and get the correct Springs. He is very easy to talk to. Delton who is another member on here has them and loves them. He does not baby his ride either.

Any special reason why

Just the fact you have same amount of settings and adjustability for a third the price.

For our ride you can’t tell the difference between the two (have ridden on both)

Sweet Baby Jesus rides like totally different machine
Yep, it is pretty night and day the difference you get with aftermarket shocks - kind of have to experience it to believe. I believe you went with Fox - best thing now is go somewhere you hride often and try all three setting over the same areas to get a feel for what each does. typically I run in Med, If hauling or I know I am going to be running higher speeds on a road or gravel I will go to firm. Soft is for slower trails

Thanks for that information cuz I really don’t have anywhere around here that I can get a good assessment other that just a few pot holes on a path nearby
