P500 Wife’s new p5

Wife got a new pioneer 500 for her and my son to ride. Came with wheels and tires and the rear box. Super impressed with its ability so far. Was looking at a rubicon 520 to go with my 17 500, bud decided the pioneer was best suited so my son could tag along without riding double on a four wheeler. Future plans include a windshield a hard top, a box for the dash, bigger front bumper, and some more aggressive 28” tires, most likely bkt’s.

@Hondap5 congrats to your family, excellent choice! My estimation is that you will find yourself pickin the P5 over the Ruby after a while. Had a 2000 Rubicon, excellent durable machine. Was stollen, so we purchased a P5 in fall of 2014, our little Dozer has been trouble free awesomeness.

Idk pretty happy with my rubicon. She wanted one as well but local stock was low and couldn’t find a footshift. Her and my son moved the p5 so we picked it up.

They/you will have a blast in the P500, my daughter learned to drive using our P5, should be excellent for your son. There used to be times I missed my Ruby not now though, (ok maybe the smooth fluid drive shifting..). Guess I’m just used to a SxS now, in really challenging terrain I like an ATV as it’s easier to see all the wheels, plus you can use body English to help keep it up right. The pluses with SxS is company, carry more stuff, riding position, steering wheel and out of the weather.
