Just a random poll to ask...

Will you be buying the Honda Pioneer Sport?

If so. Will you trade (or sale) your current Pioneer?

We all know Honda has a sport hidden way back in their shop. I want to know. When they release it will you be trading your current SxS for this new "sport".

You may say it depends on specs. Lets say....
- 1000cc
- 100hp
- 6 gear DCT.
- 28" tires
- bucket seats
- 2 and 4 seat versions.
- all current features from the 1000.

Post and let us know!

I only want a sport when trail riding but half or more of my miles come from use around home.

So far, the P1000 is the ONLY machine I would consider because it is still sporty enough(for me), short wheel base, 5 seater, dump bed, trailer hitch and Honda reliability.

Unless I win the lottery, I won't buy buying a sport model and dang sure won't trade my pioneer for one.

With all that said, I still want to see a sport model. It is an exciting time we are in with all the competition. I've got a friend that wants a SXS but only wants a sport. The Honda model may push him to buy.

Mine is at least as much utility as it is fun.

I will likely get one especially a 4 seater (provided it isn't as long as a limo) in addition to the P1K5D. Each machine has it's niche. The current P1K's are too versatile to trade it off.

I'd love to see one and hear firsthand reports from owners. Bout time Honda shows the others how to build a sport. As for me, I'm perfectly content with my P1K. Its got all the sport I need (which isn't much). I spend maybe 5% of my time going 40+ mph. The other 95% is spent crawling through mud or over rock piles. The Pioneer is perfect for me.

Keep my Pioneer 1000.
Don't like how the doors are too high to rest your elbow against on the Patriot 1K, but I understand with the new regulations they had to incorporate the design into the side supports now required on UTVs. Plus, I'm no fan of radius arms on the rear - would rather have dual A Arms, although I know the former is better for pure sport riding and increased travel.
It is cool though that the first three colors will be red, white, and blue.

I'll never get rid of my P5, too much blood and sweat went into it. Plus I flat love this machine for being small and nimble.
The P1k-3 has caught my eye lately. Specs out as a very capable machine. But like all Pioneers, ugly as hell. That's why I like the 3 instead of the 5.
5 is even uglier. Sorry guys.
If they came out with a sporty 1000...it would be all I could do not to buy one.

If it has lower gearing, 2-4 seat options, a trailer hitch and decent sized bed with an updated tranny, I would trade.

(Basically the exact same as the P1000-5 with lower gearing and a sportier suspension)
What he said...and what my $ look like
