A couple of weeks ago I asked around how to load a deer into the back of 1000-5 with winch. Didn’t get a good solution so I made this. Started with a 3x3 square tube 3’ long 1/8 thick. Welded the mounting plate that comes with a viper max winch to the bottom. Used a ubolt to secure to bumper. Used a fairlead roller frame on bottom and a fairlead roller to top. Also added a roller From amazon to the side. Used the Snap jerk pulley that came with the viper max winch, strapped it to the back roll bar with ad clamp and cinch strap. Here are some pictures. Lifted a large log into back of tilted bed. Works real good.

Well out west we deal w both elk and deer.Just butcher them on the ground w pieces u can handle then throw them in the back.Ur going to cut them into steaks eventually.

Excellent and easy solution! What time of day are you getting them? For me, I seem to always manage to drop one right as the sun falls. Don't really trust my carving skills to a headlight etc. Plus, I'd rather get the guts in a bag and in the dumpster to keep from drawing in the huge coyote population into my woods. They get dealt with after deer hunting and over the fence.

seems complicated.i'd just pass a rope thru the snatchblock mount hole and throw it over a tree branch, tie it off to the honda and winch it in to the bed.if no tree,i'd put it on a skid and drag it to one..but your idea also works.👍

I really like your setup. I did the same thing with a whole cow elk by just going over the roll bar. I found that going to the middle bar allows you to pull it in farther and all you have to do is push the bed down. I hope you get to use it soon.
