Saw a lot of older post on P500 windshields and ready to buy tomorrow. Like the Honda OEM hard coat from HondaPartsKing with Honda clamps, but many good comments on Super ATV flip out also. Looks like the Honda one flips out from bottom- is is enough to to open hood? Any newer comments? Thanks in advance.

I have and like the superatv flip out... IF you won't need the under hood storage! I really like the ability to not have a windshield in front of me! You can drive with it wide open and its great!

I have the Honda one. It does flip out for easy hood removal. During summer, run at widest gap, about 6". Temps are dropping here, so now gap is about 1/2". Fully closed and you get allot of air circulating coming in over your back/neck. I have the fabric rear panel coming and hope to be able to keep window sealed down for winter driving.

I may go Glass with my next windshield, anyone have experience with the Honda Glass windshield? From what I remember they offered one. My hard coat Lexan has lasted a few years but as soon as you clean it you get scratches.

So far I'm liking this venting windshield. You have to remove the bottom 2 thumb screws to pull it out for hood removal, but the vents are easy to use and don't rattle. UTV Headquarters - Honda Pioneer 500 Full Venting Windshield W/Hardcoat

I like the Honda hardcoat but I use under the hood for storage (tools, plugs, etc.) so it is very easy to get to that way..even hardcoat however, you need to clean carefully...and it opens enough for us here in PA for the summers :)

Go look under the accessories page. I just bought a full flip out. Waiting on it but it seems to be best of everything. For double sided hard coat lexan it was 266 shipped.

Here's a picture showing the tip out clearance of the Honda windshield. Like the easy cam locks.

VERY pleased with the Honda windshield from Hondapartsking, $409. Good rubber seals all around, including curves of Honda Roof, and easy cam lock tilt. Hope this helps those trying to decide. Maybe others can post close ups of other brands.

Thanks for the great pics.

Side note...I like the details on your house. That's not a common door you'd see around these parts.

The one downside to the Honda windshield is the way they installed the rubber gaskets on the windshield...Mine kept falling off so I decided to gorilla glue them on....I figured by the time the gaskets wear I'll be ready for a new windshield...I was disappointed in the $$$ spent that they could have done something better there :)
