Just bought the two piece poly hard coat windshield. Just want to know if anyone else had a problem getting it mounted? Brackets don't even come near where the instructions say. Have to put a huge bow in it to get bolts in. Feel like I'm going to break it. Any info would help.

Found out my problem on another forum. Dealer put netting bracket on inside of roll bar instead of outside. Glad you can find anything on the internet if you look deep enough.

Is it the DaBomb Windshield company out of UT? I purchased a windshield from them and have a 3 inch gap at the roof, When I called them they offered to send me a piece to clamp on to it!! I refused and asked for a refund, or replacement,,,as I had given them the manufacture of my Roof,,,EMP,,and they assured me they would make it to fit,,,It is fine till it rains and then you get drenched!!! so it sort of defeats what it is made for....ANYWAY, I turned it over to my credit card company when I could not get any satisfaction!! best longbeards

I'm curious which windshields work with which roofs. I bought the Honda two piece folding windshield and I'm looking for an aftermarket roof to fit my 700-4.

Bought both windshield and top from dealer with 20 percent off. Once I fixed bracket problem everything went together fine. Left windshield loose then put top on and then adjusted everything to fit.

I am also having trouble with this install. This is for the Honda brand two piece folding. The instructions do not show how to connect the clamps to the upper winshield brackets. There are also no insructions for the lower connection of te upper piece, which I assume is where it swivels. I would appreciate the help.

I'm having instillation issues also. I purchased the OEM roof and two piece windshield. I installed the roof no problem. The lower piece was a little tricky because of the side gasket orientation. I then went to install the upper and I can't get the clamps to install with the roof on. I thought the windshield was supposed to quick disconnect for towing? Can someone send a picture of the upper windshield clamps? Thanks.

Thanks, but can you take off the windshield without removing the roof?

I ended attaching the brackets like this (pics). It seems to work and seals tight to the roof.

Not sure but you could easily just unclamp the front of the roof and lift it up and take the windshield off. I think it would only be about a minute to do.

Yep

Takes about 3 minutes to put on or take off
Thanks. I messed around with the windshield clamps and I’m now able to get the upper windshield in place. I loosened all four roof brackets in the front and adjusted them to accommodate the windshield. The only issue I have now is the 10mm gap at the top sides were the windshield seals against the A pillar of the roll bar. Oh well. Now I’ve been struggling with the JEI bed extender that I bought. The locking pins don’t align with the side brackets. Lol, nothing is easy for me. 😂

Don't mind at all. The windshield is full. It's a Seizmik vented windshield with a Honda OEM roof. The venting can be controlled. Bought both at the local dealer where I bought the machine.
Both were relatively easy installs.
