Wont shift while running 2012 big red 700 sxs

2012 big red 700 sxs. Shifter doesn't go in gear when running. Someone told me idle is slightly high and won't let it shift or shifter move. Move fine when vehicle is off. Does the iac sound reasonable as the culprit?

I dont have a big red, but u may want to change your title, add the shifter issues to get more looks. Also some pics of the machine might help as well. Good luck

IAC valve is probably sticking. Common problem on thr 700 engines. You could clean it first and see if that helps.
