There probably won't be a lot of excitment in this thread for a while, but I figured I would go ahead and start one.

So far I have 32s on stock wheels and just received a light bar for Christmas.

My winch should be showing up soon also. I got a Mile Marker 5000 from Northern Tool. It was on sale, plus with their gift card offer I saved $95.

Plans include bumpers, tailgate, beadlocks, more lights, stereo, harnesses, and eventually new cage. Some of it I plan to fabricate myself.

I put the light bar on this evening. I got lucky and had the brackets line up with some of the factory holes in the cage gussets. I had to notch the top though. I still need to hook up the wiring. 39a03dedca73749a925f35013aa3ebee473db145383d0bb6a3636bbecc422a03

Welcome, WTXoffroader! I lived in Kermit until I was about 5 years old (I'm 64 now). My father was a Methodist minister. He was the preacher there when the Methodist Church was first built (almost 60 years ago). Haven't been there in awhile. He was also the minister in Pecos for three years. Used to preach at Toyah on Wednesday evenings, as it was too small a church to have a preacher of their own. Great childhood memories of camping and climbing in the Davis Mountains.

Cool story. I think most things from that era are gone or changed, but the church is still there.

That's the church my dad built! Thanks for sharing that. We lived on a little street (in a little house) called Ridgewood I believe. It was across from a small park and a big round ground-level water tank.

Those houses are still there. Most have been added on to, but I think the front exteriors are still original.

I got the accessory wiring mostly done.

I used a Eaton waterproof fuse block under the cowl, OTRATTW switches, XTC left switch panel, and will eventually mount the PBR center panel when I get a stereo. I used a factory headlight switch in the blank hole. Low will go to a future bumper light bar and high goes to the roof light bar.

Everything is inside braided conduit and terminated with metripack connectors.

The horns are made by Hella and are super loud.F1744e54e8e2827d63fc5cd4df295005C2c01953cc005cdcf79aed4ceb2c3386859c7f69203bbd5d06fb56eedca8cfc145c0aa39272fb7b93ddd6fc491ef50d2531da22e6eedd25a7d6e055a724506f4

While I had it in the shop I decided to build a rear bumper/tailgate. I just need to do some paint touch up and it will be done.

While building this I've really been holding back the urge to do the whole cage. I think it's going to happen sooner than I was planning. I will likely get the BCG DIY kit.36b6704d59d841c701159ea91622c11c

Got the tailgate finished up.

I also added a RAM mount for my tablet. I'm not too sure how stable it will be, there's a lot of weight to hold while bouncing down the trail. I used the angle bracket, which just barely fit on the grab bar mount. I did have to notch the rubber bolt cover.Feaeaa7eb3595c48b5785bd8df77b2e142449f59173943bb21dad34068722583

It'll work fine. That's where my tablet's mounted and it stays put. I see a lot of others doing the same.

I'm not sure what I will do with a spare yet. I'm still working out how I'm going to arrange everything and what I will carry.

I like your GPS mount. I have mine attached to the dash just to the right of the gauge panel. I looked on the RAM site and did not see the angled bracket you used. Do you have a model/part number or link and what length socket arm did you use?

Tablet mount RAM-HOL-TAB20U. I have a Samsung Tab S4 with a rugged case.
Ball mount for tab mount RAM-B-202U
6" Arm RAM-B-201U-C
Angle bracket RAM-B-108BU

They have 2 angle brackets, but I'm not sure what the difference is. Only thing I could tell is that one comes with 2 clamps and the other just has 1.

Not really anything. We used to have some nice sand dunes 10 miles up the road, but it got shut down and they are selling the sand for fracking.

We usually go ride at my friend's ranch which is 6 hrs away.

In a few days we're going to the Guadalupe mountains in NM to ride the forest service roads. I've never been, so I don't really know what to expect. It's about 150 mi.

Thanks for the info on the angle bracket. I'm using one of those on the bar above the windshield to hold the screen(Galaxy S5) for the backup camera. Your bracket looked different, but taking a closer look I see it is the same one I have.
