Your carry gun

I thought this could be its own topic, rather than take over @drfubar s thread. So what caliber and what do you have? Likes and dislikes?

I carry a Ruger P95 in 9mm. Very comfortable to shoot but pretty big to conceal.

Carry A Sig P229 .40 cal. 12 in the mag and 1 in the pipe. Why conceal- go strapped and show that baby to the world. She's not going to jump out of her hoister and start shooting. I was a hand gun instructor in a past life and @drfubar is 100% correct on feel. If the gun doesn't fit your hand well your not going to be able to shoot instinctively. However their is a lot of junk out there and every brand makes them. So by the best you can afford. My soap box speech is over!

Ruger lcr 38+p insane accuracy for me.
Just picked up a ruger 44 mag 4.5" barrel. She's got a little bark but not to bad really

I'm not a big guy, only 5'7, a little heavier than I want, but at 180 I carry a Beretta 92FS with a 15 round magazine on my hip in a White Hat IWB holster. The only time it's uncomfortable is after several hours in the car.

Currently carry a G22 winter carry..G27 summer carry. Both are .40 Carry in a crossbreed iwb. I am getting out of 40 though and going to 9mm. Will be going G19 and G43 for daily carry. Due to availability and price of ammo. Not to mention 9mm is a NATO round so when/if the sh@# hits the fan it will be readily available.

Most of the time I've got my XD9 on my hip. So much so that I feel strange without it. I'm not a big guy so I don't even try to conceal it. If I had a do over I would seriously consider an SR9. I also have a .380 LCP for when I'm somewhere the sheep wouldn't want me to be armed.

I'm a huge Glock fan myself. I carry a Glock 19 in the winter and a Glock 43 in the summer. Then I keep a Glock 23 with a light on it in my bedroom. You know, for those people who think they want my stuff more than I do.

Kahr p380 for everyday.. or an XDS 45 when it's colder. I'm a 45 guy but I'm a realist and comfortable carry and having it, trumps the possibility of being left at home! I prescribe to a get to the truck mentality.. I need enough on me to get me to the truck. I cannot carry enough for an offensive situation but the truck can. There I'll find rifles and enough 45 to have taken Osama!

I originally carried a Bersa Thunder but now carry a Remington RM .380

Bought me a Sig p938 sas a month ago and may start carrying it !

Glock 23 in a white hat Iwb holster for winter or baggier clothes. Glock 43 In a white hat IWB for warmer weather clothes or when I need to have my shirt tucked in.
And sometimes a Steyr S-A1 in an alien gear IWB.

But when riding, hunting, etc, I carry my Glock 20 in a shoulder rig.
And no, I'm not a glock "fanboy". I have many other brands that are very nice and may even shoot better. But I'm about simplicity and consistency.

I have several that I carry at times, (see my cooking video). A S&W Shield from the performance center is what's in my appendix rig right now. I sometimes have my Glock 29 or 30 but I currently have a Glock 19 that's in Gabe Suarez's hands in Prescott, AZ. That will be my main concealed carry gun when I get it back.

Please don't get this thread wandering to the concealed not concealed argument. I have argued that for a long time and no one wins.

Just looked at the G43 online, I'm going to go check those out this week.

You'll love it, I carry the g42. It's the perfect size, and comfortable. Imo. It's also matched with a Bianchi molded leather holster.
