After too many weeks of deliberation, I finally decided that another enclosed trailer would have been about as justified as the one I bought (and subsequently sold) last year. The way I see it, we don't (and likely won't) travel with it all too often, I've got the entire 6.5' bed of my truck with a Retrax Pro retractable/lockable tonneau cover for the outside stuff, and the entire back seat of the SuperCrew cab will work for all things that can't get wet.

I ended up picking up a '23 Rance Rough Rider 6.5' x 12' all-aluminum SA trailer with a bi-fold gate. With a GVWR of 2990# and weighing in at only 660#, that leaves me with plenty of extra payload room after loading the ~1,720# P1K5. Grabbed a spare tire and spare tire carrier. Will likely be adding a aluminum toolbox up on/near the tongue.

It's not fancy and high dollar like the aforementioned enclosed trailer, nor the one I *wanted* to order. But it is what I NEED, which makes it one of the first logical financial purchase decisions I've made in a long while. 🤣

Does that have 2 x ? floor? Mine has an all aluminum floor. Hard to tell from the pic.
I believe they are actually 5/4" x 6" treated deck boards. I was on the fence about that, but figured I would likely install and move the e-Track around and didn't want to leave holes in the aluminum.

Meh. Time will tell if I made the right decision on that.

My brother is a MIG & TIG welder by trade, so anything I need to do won't cost me any more than the material ... and maybe a few Foster's.

Gotcha. That’s why I use the ratchet straps…can’t bear to drill holes in my floor.

Bought a brand new 2016 Corvette Z06. First thing I needed to do was add the CF side skirts. I had to drill like 12 holes in the composite body, just below the doors. I've done a LOT of mods in my many years, but that was the most nerve-wracking things I have done to a vehicle.

That would have been hard, but the end result looks good.
