NEW SAFETY FEATURES COMING SOON!

This patent shows the workings of the new safety features coming soon to a Pioneer near you.
With the 2017 model line, you can read about new features that now limit the speed when the driver is not wearing his seat belt. But soon this will effect your passengers too, both the front passengers and rear passengers will soon be required to wear their safety belts before the SxS can accelerate above 15 MPH.

You can see in these images there will be a pressure switch in the seat detecting if someone is actually sitting on the seat. You will also notice the seat is NON-removable from the vehicle and is hinged to the frame. The driver's side will not appear to have a pressure switch as a driver will be expected by default.

It is unclear on the workings on the rear seats. Images suggest this new defunk may go into effect if the rear seat is in the upright position ready to seat a passenger. You can see what appears to be possibly a switch that will engage when the seat is up thus requiring the seat belt to be buckled.

This feature is most likely a submission to the CPSC's request that will only get worse as the wussification of America continues. God bless all you poor soles who need someone to hold your hand. Next up, a warning label with information on how to not smash your hand in the door.... Grow up America.
