My Fox shocks came in today and I am hoping to install them tomorrow night.

I would consider our style of riding at "sprited", we aren't the fastest in the group (limited by hp and speed of machine) but we are far from the slowest. Usually there are 4 of us in the Pioneer, about 400 lbs up front (me 240 and wife 160) and about 150 lbs in the back seats (two 70 lb kids). What would be a good starting point for the setup??

Do I need to adjust the spring preload or should I just leave it alone and try the way it is right out of the box?

Any other tips or tricks with the shocks?

i think its all in what you want to do !! but if it was me and i was a "spirited Rider" Id start out with setting them hard and then walk it down till you find your sweet spot for the shock and your riding style.

Welcome to this crazy club! Set spring tension to around 11 inches ground clearance front and rear with the weight you mentioned, that will be a good starting point.

Do Fox's have rebound adjustments? Do you ride in the rocks or sandy whoops? Rocks set your rebound quicker, in whoops set rebound slower to keep the kick back down.

$1300 off eBay. I have read of people getting them cheaper and did find them cheaper if I was willing to wait anywhere from 4-8 weeks because they were out of stock.

Question for you guys with the Fox shocks. I have stock wheels and tires on my 700 currently, I just got done installing the shocks and I only have 1 1/8 inch between the sidewalk of the tire and the piggyback res. Is this normal?

Now you have them foxy looks.
And a utility ride with racing suspension
It's a must have 4 guys who take the whole dam garage with them riding...So far I have only rode everywhere in lowest setting.... It's eats up stuff That normally have me looking for stress cracks

Let's us know how you feel about them.....
There is a lot of 700 owners that just don't post but they are watching and fox shocks are on their mind but can't spend the cabbage.....If they just could demo them it would be a on the fence decider
