P500 My First Official Break Down,MT/AT Switch

Well i have to say the bought this 2017 P500 with 400 km leftover.Now 6 month later and 5875 Km.
Wow,I guess i can say i do lots of riding.lol....
this my first warrenty issue MT/AT switch jammed up wouldnt switch to AT..
Honda replaced free of charge and installed it myself...

Hi I just got the part but not sure how to replace it yet any help please ? Do I have to remove the dash or ???

I installed it very easily just plug and that’s it only thing is that even though it clicks when I turn it , it doesn’t show the D on the screen to tell me it’s in auto mode ? Is there a trick ? Or could something else be wrong down the line
