2003 Honda Rancher

Does anyone else have a 2003 Rancher? This could be a pic of mine and I'm wondering what upgrades you may have done to yours. @Jshell3 , did I once hear you say you had an ATV?

I have a 2004 rancher.
Modifications: added a Warn winch and I changed the oil once.
Ride the crap out of it.
Hauled a 15 gallon sprayer around on Saturday.
P1k guys complain about heat, when the fan on the oil cooler kicks in its like a convection oven at low speed.
But no complaints from me.
After the apocalypse the cockroaches will be riding around on old Ranchers.

I have one 2wd...
It's mainly for hunting and Extra ass haulin.

Bone stock and never asked for anything other than tires and a couple of batt

Oh yes I have and extended rear rack that I love for bringing back my deer very Inconspicuous.

I've had this 03 since new. I have plowed snow with it every year since that time. Has a Viper winch, 25" Ripsaws and a lot of abuse. Can't seem to kill it though.

Those things are bulletproof and why Honda is still known for dependability. I'm hoping the new rides from Honda can weather 10-20 years as well.

@PistonHonda You're a funny guy. I did this TODAY. As a post on my Instagram feed. lol (I've got 2 more sections, but it doesn't feature the Rancher.)

As far as mods... deer stand / all purpose holder and nix'd the stock rims for 12" all the way around. Front rack for holding my bow / rifle / shovel.
Seat cover and batteries.. Rx

We had one,bought it for the wife, great little machine. We sold it because she has carpal tunnel and couldn't drive it anymore. This is how we ended up with the pioneer.

I have a 2000 Forman that the wife has taken over that's bulletproof as hell! Runs like a raped ape! I think there close to the same machine in a lot of ways.

OK, posted above from the phone, didn't have a photo to load.
Photo is from a few years ago, hauled the ATVs out to Arizona over X-mas break.
This is late December - don't try that in shirt sleeves in Ohio.
Trail in to Martinez Mine between Tucson and Phoenix.

I have an 03 just like yours, no upgrades. Fighting what I hope is simply a carb issue right now. Worked great when I last used it in late september, won't start now...new plug, fresh gas, battery is good, I cleaned the carb but maybe not good enough...got one coming in the mail now.
