Does anyone have experience with the Cab Heater kit the club sells? Last I checked, they only had earlier models but I found a similar one elsewhere for the 2024 Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe that I have. If the club has one for the newer model, I'll certainly buy here if I decide to bite the bullet.

But, before I plunk down close to 5 Benjamins and several hours of time I don't have, I'm hoping others who have installed them can provide wisdom from experience. Do they put out enough heat to make a significant difference in comfort - WITHOUT the fully enclosed cab? It would fantastic riding back from a hunt in December, or hauling things down the mountain in January/February, if I didn't have to wear my warmest (and thickest) hunting overalls and jacket, especially if I haven't been hunting, or if my wife skipped the hunt and I got the heated deer stand. I have a front windshield, plastic roof, and a plastic rear windshield that do keep the wind out for the most part, and I haven't gotten around to taking the nets out so I run with those.

Any thoughts on whether it's worth the $$ and effort? How long do they take to heat up, and how much air do they put out? How difficult is the install? Appears the only place to mount it is in place of the storage bin under the driver's seat, anywhere else (I have a 2nd battery setup in the large space under the hood). I've seen pics of vents under the seat and in the dash in place of the "You're going to DIE!" sticker - any comments on whether one place works better than the other?

I'd really appreciate any wisdom from experience y'all can share. Thanks in advance!

I have an inferno in mine, similar style to the club store. With a full hard cab and minimal addition sealing of the oem cracks and drafts it has no problem keeping it warm. I never try to turn it on before it hits 2 bars on the temp gauge and doing so ends up taking 20ish minutes from start up when it is cold, i.e. below 20 degrees, to feel warm in the cab. When plowing snow I can take my heavy jacket off and be comfortable in a sweatshirt and jeans. Only complaints is there is not a good way to get vents near the floor on the bottom of the dash without sacrificing vents from somewhere else.

I have the inferno. Seal the cab with 50,000 piece of foam and Zip tape and don't drive fast and you'll stay warm.

Any chance you could share pictures of the install? Where you put the auxiliary pump?
I don't have any pics and would have to pull the skid plates to get some. I made a bracket and mounted to a frame cross bar in just ahead of the engine, maybe 8-10" of hose length ahead of the Y splice/fitting you install with the heater kit. I have it wired to my aux panel so when we want heat you just turn on the pump, when it gets too warm in the cab but you still need a little heat you can shut it off. FWIW, I did the same thing on my TalonX2 and my buddies Talon R4.

To add if some kits don't have a y type splice, so I would think those would see no benefit from a pump like that. Mine has no y splice
