I couldn't resist getting out in the woods in the pouring down rain to test out my new Go Pro Hero 4 Silver edition. It looks like the quality was reduced when I uploaded it (it recorded in HD and it looks like there is only and option for 360p) I will have to re-upload it later.

Did you use your phone or iPad to upload. I ask because when I use my IPhone to upload, it will only do low quality unless I'm on a good wifi. Once on a good wifi, it will give me the option to upload in HD.

video is private

Sorry, I figured out what was wrong on both being marked "private" and the resolution. It was in "draft" form until I clicked the publish button. Now it should be public and also available in 1080HD.

I am not 100% sure on the location I have it...I placed it on the center roll bar, however you see a lot of the roof, me, and dash. It would be better if it was closer to windshield. Anyone else have other locations they use?

Good looking video. Looks like what I rode in today. If you don't mind, I may post a short vid on here.

Also, as for the camera mount, I used the adhesive mount and stuck mine to the lower windscreen. Here is a pic of the same setup on my 700.

Don't mind at all, that is a good idea on mounting the camera to the windshield. I never thought about doing that.

It's probably not the best location but it gives you an idea to try.

We had rain too. This is a trail where there's typically no water

Hi Marine660. Does the roof keep you somewhat dry on the left side while driving in the rain with out side panels?
Thanks for the video and Merry Christmas!

I didn't get wet at all. The rain was going straight down though. If it was blowing hard sideways I wouldn't have faired as well.

My opinion is its amazingly dry
