Flashing lights on my pioneer 500, then nothing. quits running.

Shortly after driving the instrument lights flash and the engine dies. wait 5 minutes or so , starts up and will drive. goes another 1000 ft dies. But if you drive under 20 , does not die. what could be the problem ? pioneer 500

If you can record a video of this and upload it to YouTube or similar then post the link here we might be able to diagnose the flashing light sequence. The short and long flashes will give a decent indication of what to start looking at.

Start out with basics - go over all the battery connections and all power connections.

Also, year, miles and of course pics and history

Battery first, check for voltage with key on terminal tightness

I've also seen ignition switches on these go bad
