Anyone know of a good way to remove the red stains that bake onto the metal parts? Engine cleaner?

Other than sand blasting I just learned to live with the shades of orange where it baked on. Pressure washer didn't really help, maybe some light steel wool or a scotchbrite but I wasn't going to that do that after every ride

I tend to favor the green tint from cow pastures :)

Mine came from that environment, but after a few months of riding in Northern MI and all the power washing, it's gone.

Sorry, no help... :) I was happy to see it all gone

Well, I’m selling one of the bikes and I want to get the stains off of all the metal before listing it. If I were keeping it I wouldn’t care much about it. I’ll try some engine cleaner and see what happens

Copper wire brush did the job very nicely without scuffing the engine case
