I am interested in hearing issues regarding late model Pioneer 1000.

I have a 17 P1K-5 LE and love it. I know that there has been a couple problems with the P1K, but the machine is worth the posabillity of these problems. Honda has a couple updates and they are showing me that they are working on the fixes. Are you buying a P1K or already own one?

I don't have A 1000 Myself but I read all the threads.
And the worst issue I always hear is how people cant seem to get enough accessarys on them.
The other issues Are fixable:)

Welcome, the only quantifiable problem is the clutch, but the update that Honda has released fixes it for 16-17 models and 18 comes with it installed.

The heat issue is relative, some people have it others don’t. Does it get warm yes but if you have a full windshield it does get hot in hot weather.

I personally take the windshield off in hot weather and have a “bug buster” Brand on, keeps bugs and big chunks mud off. Cool weather I put glass windshield and soft cab on and the heat is nice. On my 700 the windshield stayed on because I had lights mounted to it and it was miserable if it was 85 or above.
