Well, since most riding parks around me really should be boat parks, I am leaning toward keeping the 700. I mainly use it for hunting and riding with kids around the subdivision, and I love the thing! So my next purchase Is most likely going to be a golf cart. I am wanting either the ez go express 4x4, which was the bad boy buggy. But it is 11 grand! The next one I like is the ez go 2wd with lift and nice rims, but it is 9 grand... Anyone have any advice on brands? Gas or electric? I will probably buy a used one with all the goodies already on it.

I used to build them as a hobby. Club Car Precedent has always been my favorite. Club cars have aluminum frames so never have an issue there. We use electric because it quite, easy and clean. The Precedent line is easy to upgrade and parts are readily available. We use it fir neighborhood riding and ride it all over town to restaurants and stores. Also carry it to the island where we vacation and it’s primary means of transportation.

My current one

I have built a few both gas and electric. For around town and the property I like a 48v electric (36v is ok), for camping the gas was fun and I did not have to worry about charging it. I have never had a 4x4 one but can pick up a nice 2wd 48v cart with newer batteries and charger for around 2k and put another thousand for lift, rear seat, and tires. I like the ezgo brand but that’s just me, no rust issues around here.

I got this one near the end of deer season last year. Seems with gas powered machines I saw fewer and fewer deer each year as the season progressed, so decided to go SILENT. It is set up for torque to climb hills and does a great job at my camp in MO. Ozarks. Downside is 48V is waaaay more complicated than gas, but Buggies Gone Wild Golf Cart Forum is full of expert info.

The BEAST .... '01 CC DS Lynx with factory Z lift, 12" black steel spoke wheels, 23" Barrage Mud tires, new US Batteries, rebuilt high torque 11.4HP motor, 400amp Solenoid, 600amp Alltrax controller, 2ga cables, HD FNR switch

I'd just buy this one from Honda for less...

That is what I did. I wanted something to haul the waverunner back and forth to the lake. It is about 1/2 mile out the back gate. I wanted my own cart to use for sporting clays. After months of research I bought Little Red.20190811 080638 20190818 094404

I have bought and sold a couple. I still can't understand why people around here mess with them, especially the electric ones. Overpriced, hardly any capability. As far as i'm concerned, unless you need to use something that is silent like in a campground, might as well buy a side by side as stated before. A friend of mine paid over $9000 for a fancy electric Harley Davidson painted cart right after I bought my P500. I still think he's insane.

I found a dealer close to me. They have exactly what I’m looking for... I will have to have the upgraded motor and controller too. I want it to pop a wheelie!

Agreed with all but FNR switch, those are Precedents so it’s literally just a three way toggle switch
