Left headlight stopped burning. Didn’t have time to take it apart and see what’s wrong but I’m guessing the bulb is bad. Can anyone tell me what bulb it uses? Also any replacement bulb recommendations?
Thanks,
Thanks,
What he said but I used in my 700/4. Bright White instead of yellow. This is the best way to go and gives you a whiter light.
P500 - What did you do to/with your Pioneer 500 today?
I run on road quite a bit at night . Any chance the 881 may be too bright and blind oncoming traffic?
Perfect, Thanks for the response. No chance. They're no brighter than the stockers, just a whiter light which matches the led bars and cubes better.

I appreciate that. ThanksI have an LED headlight that works great, I am not where I can send the information on it but I will try and get it to you tomorrow.
Sorry about taking so long, but I just got back to where I could send you this. These LED bulbs will fit into the factory position, and require some minor modification of the cover that goes over the back of the headlight bucket. The majority of the night driving that I do is on USFS roads and they work extremely well for what I do. The complete set cost around $45.00 US.I appreciate that. Thanks
I tried the bulbs you got, and only used the LED lights after ridding with a person who had them. His lights were much more efficient than the ones I had purchased. Granted they do not have the range of a light bar by any means, but in my usage they worked much better than the Phillips 886 bulbs.I bought a standard Philips 886 bulb, but got them in 50 watt. They did make a noticeable difference over the stock 35 watt bulbs. Didn't want to go with the LED offerings out there due to so many people commenting that the beam didn't throw very far.
We supply LED light bars into the OEM Jet Boat market, and when you do buy a new bar be sure to get one that is vented. Optics are also very important when you shop for a light bar, probably more so that Lumens or wattage. While two companies may advertise the same emitter it is the optics which will determine how well the bar will project, and what pattern it will project. Most companies will offer three types of projection which are spot, flood or a combination of the two. All of the projections work well it just depends on what you want the light bar for, in our industry the single row combination bars are the most popular.I'm kinda disappointed that my p500 doesn't have high and low beams. My Grizzly does. I wired them in so when on high the light bar is on -on the Grizzly. Oh well, I'm gonna get a light bar for it and will put a switch in it to light them.
I hear you. I don't ride a lot after dark, but at this point anything would be an upgrade. Will definitely take into consideration your recommendations. Thanks. Hey Trigger do you think these bulbs will work in the 500? Amazon says they won’t.No chance. They're no brighter than the stockers, just a whiter light which matches the led bars and cubes better.
