P700 Hello from Western Australia

Hi everyone, Happy New Year.
I am in Perth Western Australia and have just bought a new 700/2. They are pretty hard to get here, waiting list, so I grabbed it while I had the chance, a bit like buying your own Christmas present!
I am fitting a few bits and pieces, windscreen, winch etc. Also plan to fit some sort of dual battery system in the near future.
Right now I have made a box template out of MDF that fits under the bonnet in the void space on the right hand side. I figure I can place a couple of shackles and a web sling in there. I will use this template to make up the box with ali or galvanised steel.

I know where the boot is and I know where the bonnet is BUT.... on a Porsche 911 is the boot now the bonnet and the bonnet now the boot? 🤔

Nice place Exmouth. i think the US base is gone now, no need for Omega Nav anymore for your submarines I would guess. You guys left a few nice cars when you posted home.

I ordered a brand new Yamaha 250 DT-1 and rode it all over the place up there. Also rode it to Canarvon and raced it. Made some good friends (mates) there.
