I've never ice fished, not a "self-declared" ice transversing expert.

I kept seeing these I-Grip tire studs for all kinds of applications. They are carbide all the way thru, they say it keeps them from shearing off. And, the auger seems to anchor them well into the tire

There are many videos on YouTube in ATV, UTV, car, and truck tires.

Go for the “gripstuds” instead.

one look at the “thread” and you will see how much better they stay in the tire.

good for 60-70 mph by my testing. (Dirtbike tires)
