My best to you HSXS. You run a really cool site, here, with a remarkably light, judicious hand. You should have run me off at least twice.

Let us not forget what the men who signed that declaration put on the line.

With few exceptions, they were men of wealth and substance. They only lacked one thing, a thing which they considered essential, no matter the cost.

That thing was LIBERTY. Freedom from the oppression of an arrogant, self-indulgent king. They courageously chose to risk position and wealth for that idea. That ideal.

Never had privileged elites done that before, and seldom have they done it since.

Many of them died, or were ruined by their courageous signatures on that document.

Amazing men. An amazing country! Ours to lose or keep!

Our greatest enemies are within.

We had fireworks on the lake Saturday night and Sunday night, two different locations and there will be again tonight. Yesterday we paraded the P5 through the neighbourhood.

I think I put about 75 miles on this weekend just on the dirt roads. lol I'm over 900 now...

Hey, you're familiar with lake Hamilton! Yep, we anchor there along with hundreds of other boats for a very spectacular fireworks show.

lol, um NO! Seen some wild s*** there, but we usually hang at the sandbar (270 bridge).

When I was stationed at Barksdale me and some buddies stayed at my dads condo on memorial day weekend. We hung out at skinny dip cove all day. Well mr green jeans showed up and guess who got tagged with picking up all the trash or got to pay a ticket. Thats right the people with Louisiana boat stickers AKA me and my buddies. Was not a fun task.

Yep, from Memorial Day thru Labor Day you'll see both Coast Guard and Sheriffs Patrol on the lake.

I've been mooned by girls on boats... while eating outside the Fisherman's Wharf. There's just something about Arkansas . I don't think it was JUST me they were aiming for... My whole family was there!
