So I did install a kolpin standing dual rifle mount, using their hardware.

That got me to thinking about just installing rivnuts in the floor, so I don't have to drop the skid plate to remove it after hunting season.

Any experience installing these in a pioneer 1000 floor? Will they last in the plastic, or just spin forever?

I think I'd consider installing a metal backing plate under the floor. That plate would be bolted to the floor and the rivet nuts would be then installed into the backing plate. Rivet nuts would work installed directly into the plastic, and they do make flanged ones for that purpose, however, they would not be nearly as strong as using the metal backing plate.

Should have no problem, IF you use the correct rivnuts for plastic.
