P500 Minnie & Maggie Gulches

Well the weather was about perfect today for a ride in the mountains. The dry conditions and the "416" fire had forced the closure of the San Juan national forest for about a week. But a bit of rain last weekend allowed the FS to reopen the forest.

The trail head for Minnie and Maggies Gulches are both NE of Silverton, CO. While not long roads they sure pack a lot of scenery into a relatively short distance.
