Need to get gear knobs off my Pioneer 700

I’m new to the forum, this is my first post. Have a Pioneer 700 2021. Need to get gear knobs off but don’t seem to slip right off like some claim. Anyone know how to do this?

Thank you for that, and greetings back. When putting knobs back on, heat then re-apply with a twist too?

I'd throw some spooge of your choice in there and push it back on. Clear silicone is like Frank's Red Hot, I put that sh** on everything.
