One of my first new trucks had a smaller bed (5.5'). Never again (for me).
Couldnt agree more!
8’ foot for me or its just a toy truck 😂

@SWB congrats on the truck. The new yoties look good. Too bad they dont make 2/4 & 3/4 ton diesels That can pull a 40’ TH at ease or Id give them a hard look. For now Ill keep my SD platinum diesel, its still a baby @ 129k miles

What year? I've got a 2014 1794 edition Tundra, and yeah, best half ton on the market.

Ah, yeah. I shoulda known had I looked closer. I haven't actually seen a 22 on the road yet, was wondering if they were supplying them.

I'll be interested to drive one to see how it rides on the new platform.

I can tell you that pulling sxs on trailer is effortless. For 88 miles to deer camp. Some hills in south anyway. I-30 going south toward Arkadelphia truck spends most of its time 1300-1600 rpms. Only one hill on I-30 it goes to 2200 rpms. Averaging about 14.5-15 mpg. Don't feel like I have found sweet spot yet. Feel like it should get around 16 or so. No trailer whole tank average is around 22.5. Best mpg so far is 24.4 on a 35 mile trip.

I have been trying to buy a truck never in my lifetime have i seen this kind of stuff .No dealer trades 5000 over msrp for paint and interior protection. And when you will get it they dont know.Plus i want a v-8 thing of the past V-6 turbo or 4 banger turbo normal.

What really drove me into getting it. I was waiting for another Tacoma to hit lot. But nothing was showing up I liked, and they were about marked up to point where they were about 10000 less than this truck. This truck also was advertised to get better fuel economy than Tacoma with more HP and Torque and being a hybrid. V8 turbo hybrid would have been nice.
