That's a nice mount but, way too much $$$ just to mount a spare tire!

besides mine is a 2018. the ones listed above are for earlier years. I'm not saying it's not worth it. I'm just sayin g it's more than I can afford for a spare tire

Mines an 18 also, no difference in years. My backseats are usually full so I had to do something. I like this much more than the receiver mounted spare carrier I had before it, since it swings open and allows the bed to dump or tailgate to open.

I know this is a few years old, @Bad_bowtie, but do you still love your SATV spare tire carrier?

I don't need a bed extender. We never run with the jump seats up if we are going anywhere I feel I need to carry a spare and I mount my Rotopax to my Milwaukee Packout boxes in the bed.

I don't mind having to open it to use the dump bed, but I may look at trying to replace the two bolts on the one side with some kind of quick disconnect pins.

What size tire do you carry? I run 30x10-15 on 15x7 all the way around. Tire measures 29" actually.

Has it performed well? Would you buy it again?

The 15% off site wide sale @ SuperATV might very well get me to add to cart!

Thanks!

I sold the carrier to a member here at the 21' Takeover. It's well built and very handy but I didn't like all the extra weight hanging back there on some of the more extreme rides we go on. It held a 30x10r14 very well.

Thanks for the feedback, @Bad_bowtie.

That's why I didn't go with a bed extender that also carried a tire. Those push the weight even further out. Hoping this is a good compromise. My Rotopax packs mount to my Milwaukee Packouts, and the Packout adapters are mounted to the back of the jump seats. Hoping that weight, which is more forward than something on the tailgate with an extender, will help minimize the effect of the spare, especially with the carrier keeping it closer to the dump bed vs an extender with a mounted tire.

Carry the weight vs have no spare. I do carry all the obligatory tire repair gear, though. We shall see!

Thx again.
