Anyone have any experience with Pit Bull Growlers? Looking for a good all around trail/mud tire.

They do look good!

Thanks for the heads up, DG. I wonder if the 26.5's would rub? Looking for a little more clearance.

Yeah, they are very proud of the growlers. The diamonds look good on the slik kote wheels. Any idea how well they perform in the mud?

Mud? That requires rain and/or water.... :D

They certainly dug up desert soil pretty well. I'd wager they are as good as growlers in mud, which is to say pretty good for an all-terrain type tire...but certainly not as good as a pure mud tire. You may have to Google that one...

Glad to hear you're satisfied with your purchase. What kind of terrain are you running on and do think 26.5's would work without a lift?

Actually, you'd spend twice that much, if not more.

I'm not bagging on the growlers. I've heard nothing but rave reviews on them...BUT, the same thing could be said of the STI's.

Where did you buy Growlers that cheap? Please post for the OP.

Like i said, i have no doubt they are great...but i doubt they are any better than the Black diamonds or several other tires, and $140 buys a set of Honda A-Arm guards.
