Hello I recently ran my big Red out of gas completely. I bought more gas and filled it up but now I cannot get it to crank. I hear the fuel pump when I turn the key. I am wondering if my kids "flooded" it. If so how would I fix that or what can I do?

If it is like fuel injection on a car it takes a while for the fuel pump to get the fuel lines primed, once refilled. When you turn on the ignition switch the fuel pump only runs for about 10 seconds then shuts off until the engine is running. I have found that you need to turn the ignition on (not cranking but run position) 5 or 6 times before trying to crank. Each time you turn on the ignition switch leave it on about 15 seconds then turn off for about 10 seconds. Not sure if this will help but it might be worth trying.
