P500 Reymert Mine 2-5-2023

The Misses and I loaded the 520 and went out HWY 60 to the staging area at the State Trust land entrance. Minimal traffic on the roads/trails. Got up to the mine area and the weather was fantastic 65+. Actual running water for miles on the trail. On the way back we took some off-shoot roads and got into some nasty stuff. Turned around on a couple being Solo vehicle and all. Great low-stress ride, no agenda except the Mine and the rest was bonus points. More and more impressed with the Honda's capabilities. The Spare held tightly and removed in seconds. Winner.

Luv me sum Honda red, it really POPS in the photos. 😍 Being a desert rat, I can’t get enough of the photos.👍 I’m in Johnson Valley, California right now, also desert, but nowhere near as pretty as your pics.

Nice pictures thanks. I plan to spend my first winter in Quartzsite AZ. This fall of 2023. Get away from the Oregon rains. If I buy my OHV sticker do I still need a State Trust Lands sticker ? Also, nice tires . What did you decide on and why ? I have a brand new P 500 on order and need to set it up for gentle desert riding. 72 years old and will be riding solo most time.
