Stopped at the Honda shop to pick up parts for the recon and they had a 520 there. It had a sold tag on it and they said it would be June before they would get another one. I took a couple of pics that I thought the folks asking about how the bed was mounted might be interested in.

And one of the shocks just in case anyone can glean anything from it.

Oh and one of the inside of the bed just for the heck of it.

Or why some where full size and a couple are just thumbnails. If someone wants full size of the thumbnails I can repost them.

Sure looks like the same shocks and springs.
I guess only Honda knows. When they claim improved suspension for the P520.

Looking at those pictures makes me think, anyone tried making some kind of "inner fender" like you would see on a car to prevent or reduce the amount of mud, etc., going on the engine and getting in to the extremely hard places to clean? I was thinking something like these but angled to reduce mud, etc., going towards the engine as well.

Red500, I bought that machine from Greeneville Honda. I called several places trying to find one, I had to put down the deposit about a month ago.
I enjoyed working with the guys there. I drove from Knoxville. Plan to use it on our Christmas tree/pumpkin farm. The narrow width should help going between the rows with sprayers and mulch.

They had said it was someone from knoxville. Good looking machine, enjoy it and welcome to the club.
