P700m2 Should I be concerned about plastic roof and windshield when trailering?

Hi everybody I bought a brand-new Honda Pioneer 700-2 and I'm wondering if I should be concerned about losing the windshield and plastic roof when trailering it down the road? I don't want to lose them. Should I just remove them when trailering?

I've pulled mine on the interstate but I remove the windshield first. Haven't had an issue with the top.

I take both off when trailering. My theory is less wind resistance and better fuel mileage. I have left the roof on before and it certainly doesn't fly off or anything. If you have a light plastic windshield that goes on and off easily like i do I would say at least just remove the windshield.

Haul mine with the roof and honda 2-piece windshield without any problems. Been cruising along the interstate at 80 mph.

I've left both on, my mileage sure did go to s*** towing my 27' TT with my 700-4 on the deck.

Is there a cover for these SxS suitable for trailering. I know Honda offers some but are they trailering rated? That could prevent most damage from occurring.

I have a one piece glass windshield and the plastic hard top and back panel with a sliding window in it. I've now towed it 5000 miles behind my truck and my 25' motorhome with no problems , no chips, and no parts flying off. my Motorhome gets the same mileage with or without the Pioneer behind it. That's my story, and I'm sticken with it.
