Subtransmission

I just got a 2020 Talonx-4 fox live valve used. It has 2k miles on it. I changed the oil in the motor and the DCT and filters. All looked fine.. I changed the oil in the sub transmission and it looked like it was a milky color when I stirred it and looks like metallic paint in it. Nothing stuck to the magnet at all. Any ideas on what is going on and what I should do to try and help pro long the life of it? I’ve attached pictures. TIA for any thoughts and help.

Also it looked dark with metallic coloring until I stirred it with the magnet if that helps at all.

I would just put fresh oil in it and run it.

Previous owner might had not serviced it, fill it and run it

Thought the same thing. I did fill it. Going to hot springs off road park this weekend and will change it again when I get back just to see what it looks like. Thanks for the reply

vent may have been under water sucking some in, was this used machine a garage queen or “pretty used”?

like the others said, fill it, run it like ya stole it and enjoy

It was definitely used but didn’t seem to be abused at all. Air filter was pretty bad also. Really don’t have a choice. Fill it and run it like I want. If it breaks well i ll fix it. lol

Most people don't even service there truck/Jeep transfer cases either. Most think changing oil in engine is enough maint
